Neville
From gangs to grinds. Coming from a broken home, Neville turned to the streets and a life of gangsterism to escape an alcoholic mother and poverty. After a couple of stints in prison, Neville found faith and become a Christian. This is when his life did a complete 180. From there he found a new purpose. After years of volunteer work he found himself working as a student facilitator. This is where he discovered his passion for coffee. He was trained as a barista and was one of the head facilitators that trained the students at The Woza Coffee School..

Rashied
Rashied's early days at the Woza Coffee School didn't start with a bang. He was shy and really nervous. He didn't have a job, he didn't have any former training in the hospitality industry and he hadn't finished high school. Everything was new to him. But from a stuttering start, he blossomed into a very capable barista and was employed by Execu Specs to make coffee at one of their flagship stores.

Chadley
Coming from the Township of Vrygrond, Chadley experienced gangsterism and poverty firsthand. After having dropped out of school, he didn't have too many options open to him for a career path, and the options he did have weren't too savoury. He decided to apply for our barista course, even though his coffee knowledge was very limited. After finishing and passing the course as 1 of the top 3 students, Chadley became the first student to be employed. He is currently working as a professional barista and dreams of one day training other people, who may also have lost a bit of hope, to become baristas.
